Abstract
Phonic Frequencies is an inter-linked Mixed Reality installation for several users. The artistic concept integrates telecommunication, streaming and interaction in installations consisting of three or four video-projectors and one audio-system for sound feedback.
Objectives:
The participants on location and the participants in distant locations influence the visual content of the installation by using the telephone, providing the recipients with an opportunity to explore the creative potential of telephones and telecommunication networks, at the same time experiencing a new dimension of interaction with remote physical spaces.
The spatial situation of the installation is streamed into distant locations, providing feedback for users interacting by telephone.
